Cricket and Politics
It’s such a shame that in cricket we are still stuck in the same issues as to what we were 30 years back. I don’t understand the relationship between cricket and politics. Shouldn’t be cricket, being an international game, a meritorious game where those who have the skills can progress?
I was shocked to see Imran Farhat getting a chance again. There are far better players who were not selected but Imran Farhat got the chance as his Father in Law is in the PCB. If this is the criteria to become a deserving candidate then I have no doubts that our international team will never get the best players playing.
Younis Khan’s captaincy is also very doubtful nowadays and he is not up to the mark and should concentrate hard. It’s such a shame that we still lack in the same departments and we are not able to counter these problems. Our fielding was always horrible and after so many years it hasn’t improved a bit. No wonder it will not improve if you select players like the way PCB has selected Imran Farhat.

Bhai sahab batting average tu ek gali k bachay ka iss se ziada hoga,, ap baat kar rahay hain ODI matches ki tu yeh koi bohat acha average nahi hai,, pata nahi kahan kahan k players se mila rahay ho jo shaid ek do matches he khaily hongay, Saaf baat hai Pakistan main parchi rocks, jis ki parchi hui woh Pakistan ki team main enter, ager parchi nahi hai tu bechara gali main he night match khailta rahyga. Talent ki koi kadar nahi hai yahan pe.
@ Ghouse…..I think favouring people who are backed by “PAWWA” is not gonna change the mentality of the “Generation Next”, we should not promote, favor or support such people.
The other thing you said about him was his average score “My Dear, what can we do with the average of 36 and mind you it is not 36 its 30 in ODI’s and 36 in T20. The other thing is that he had scored 6 half-centuries and just 1 century with his highest score of 107 in ODI’s. Are these the stats you want to support for an opening batsman or batsmen.
