A tribute to Imanae Malik
Everyday people die, everyday mothers lose their children and everyday children lose their parents. Everyday people are left behind in the memories of their loved ones who have passed away. Although life and death is in the hands of Allah but what to do in a situation where you lose someone so young, so beautiful and full of life due to careless mistakes, blunders and ignorance of professionals who are trained to save lives.
As you can see in the video Imanae Malik was a star of the eyes of many, so innocent, such an angel, lovingly tender and with dreams in her eyes.
I don’t want to discuss the reasons for her demise as that will force us all to remember the time when Imanae was in excruciating pain. The professionals, who were there to save people, have actually taken her life. Is it a crime to burn your hand from hot water and visit a doctor? Is this what a patient gets in a hospital? Is it a crime if a parent takes their child to consult the doctor if they are in pain?
What should be the punishment given to the careless doctors? What should be the punishment of the administration who hired such incompetent professionals? Why should the parents suffer because of someone else’s incompetence?
And what has the government done so far? What has the whole system done so far? Is that enough? Our media has helped this family in highlighting this sad incident unfortunately we do not have any institution that can probe into the matter and prosecute such criminals, rather animals.
In the end, I would like to quote what was said by Imanae Malik’s father, about what Imanae said just before she passed away.
“Just before she totally passed out, she started calling out my name and saying that everything was getting blurred and she couldn’t see clearly. Little did I know that these were the last words my daughter would ever say.”
For a moment, just put yourself in the parent’s shoes and feel the pain and helplessness at the sight of their only child dying in front of their eyes.
Kindly post your comments on this sad incident and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave some loving comments for Imanae Malik.

i m not here to make any justification . i m here to give some suggestions n some requests.
1-kindly dont dont blame all the docs .her field main achay buray log hotay hain, lyk police, customs, judiciary etc.ab sub ko bura kehna ya us field ko bura kehna ziadti hogi
2-koi bhi doctor itna zalim nahi hota k mariz ko marne de n kuch na karay
3-u ppl cant imagine k hum log kitni mehnat kertay n baad main at da end of the day hamain galian milay to hamaray dil pe kia guzerti hai
4-private hospitals ki emergencies ko bund krain.i admit k private hospitals ki emergencies ko jnr docs chalatay (but agar daikhain to in jnrs ka bhi to kasoor nai na)
5-only govt hospitals should be allowed to take emergencies.they have atleast some senior staff every time fo proper management
6-kindly kindly sub docs ko bura bhala na kahain.media ko is baat se rokain.hum young docs is situation se bohat pareshan hain.
Dr Usman Ager ap ko aysa lagta hay k sub ko bura nahi kehna chaye to ap doctors ko chaye k un doctors k nikal k jotay marain jinho ne aysa kiya aik pirari masom bachi k sath…. jub ap log media may a k unhay jotay maraingay to Amm log kuch nahi kahaingay

Corruption have crossed boundries & Limitions in Pakistan, in every walk of life
It is heart breaking to see such a cute kid lost her life in one of the so called state of the art hospital of Lahore, GREED for more money is the cause of this, Dr. Usman I agree that majority of Doctors put their 110% We do not blame all doctors for being greedy, ignorant, unprofessional and things like that. But when a kid with minor burn on the arm dies in Hospital, it says volumes about the efficiency of our hospitals and its Doctors. It is not first such case, may be it is first time such a case has been brought in lime light, if you want to see the pathetic conditions of our public or private Hospitals, have a round of your city hospitals, that will boost your faith in Allah, HE saves millions, other wise such hospitals and doctors are good enough to keep our population under control. Civil society should take action against those who are responsible, and Doctors should come out with their suggestions to improve the health conditions, just keeping your mouth shut will help no more.
Unfortunately doctor n hospital neglect is a common practice in Pakistan…it is mainly the lower class who suffer at the hands of money making doctors…they have no voice and often quietly go home leaving it, as the will of Allah….if a survey was done and an account of doctor hospital negligence was noted…this country would be horrified to see what goes on…im glad that these parents are raising their voices and we need other people to take a stand and not let these people get away with murder…because i can assure you if things remain as they are alot of other Imanae Maliks and children and Adult deaths will continue to go unnoticed, while these Doctors and hospitals continue to pocket blood money!!
hi…
feeling very sorrry for imanae…
i cant bear the last words she said to her father…
sigh…
i m also mother of a 2yrs old boy..my child is my whole world….i dont even imagine wht imanae parents going through…..really soorrryy…
may Allah bless her soul in eternal peace!
she is really a cute baby, but you kow nothing can Allah’s will, this was her fortune but the sad thing that DOCs didnt perform their duty well. professional neglegence has become habbit of our Doctors it is happening almost in all hospitals that seniors recomend their juniors(least experienced) on their places just to show their authority and relaxation. that doctor should be punished and not anly that doctor all administration of DOCTORS HOSPITAL should be punished. may ALLAH give peace to her PARRENTS.
HI I M VERY UPSET ……
EN LOGON KO TO SIRF MOOT KI SAZA MILNI CHAYE ……!
KYA BEDTI HO UN WALDEIN PAR…..BAS ALLAH HI UN KO
SABAR ATTA FARMAYE……!
HUM SAB UN KE LIYE DUA KARTE HAIN…………!
ALLAH IMANAE KI ROOH KO JANNT-UL-FIRDOS MEIN JAGAH DE…
AMEEN.!
i know that words will never cover your loss but she is like an angle i hope the doctors that did it die a more painful death then her and i am again sorry for your loss
I love imanae malik, becz she is very cute and innocent i will never forget her face.
ALLAH imanae malik ky parents ko sabar ata at farmaye. AMEEN
she is really like a manu billi, but wo Allah ki amanat thi so Allah ne usse wapis bhula liya, this world is full with these type of stories.
Hazrat Ali RA said, Qurban Jaon main us Allah pe, jo khushi deta hai hamari soch se ziyada oor dukh deta hai hamari bardasht se kam.
we must understand the concept ov saza n jaza.individuals who r involved in ithis neglegency, although they did it un intentionally, how ever must b taken to the task. may Allah Rest her soul in peace n give her parents sprcial courage n tolerance, ameen !
hi
it has been saiid in so many words that i dont know what other words to invent to tell this baby’s parents that i know what u r goin thru. my wwife had to have an emergency surgery cuz of a senior doctor misjudgement, and she had to go thru alot of pain before that cuz she decided to take a trial of labour and the medicine she recieved had wrong effect on her, my daughter was pre-term and doctors said she didnt require observation in nursery. but she developed infection on her first day, and she was given un neccessary medicine cuz a jr. doctor thought she was having brain infection and fits. she is or first child. born after a long time. twice my wife had threated abortion but Allah gave us an angel in the end.
now let me tell u something else. me and my wife both r doctors. and thru all this time , these mistakes and misjudgements, v cant blame the doctors. cuz v understand their problems and limitations. and in the end it was a doctors who picked up that tiny bundle of joy and put her in my arms saying “she is fine now,u can take her and kiss her if u want” and that was when v kissed our daughter for the first time, 10 days after she was born.
may Allah give u sabar jamil, but dont say “doctors” say “incompitent and guilty” doctors when u say bad things to them.
may Allah give hidayat to those who dont have it and ajar to those who do their work with eemandaari
i do not have any words to say how i feel but i wish i could do something about it but what i can do is to curse those doctors may they suffer for the rest of there lives for there done … and i pray to almighty Allah may he gives you the strength to live with this truth.
@dr.Usman….
Hand burned with the hot water was not an emergency case at all..
She died only coz of the doctors blunder, thats it…thr was no other reason 4 her death..
Ask the parents who has gone through all this..if due to someones careless mistake if someones daughters die thn he has the full rite to say him bad..
not all the doctors r bad..thr r gud doctors..but nw most of the doctors r not sincere n honest to their profession…they r doctors only to earn money…
i wud say ths because sum1 in my family too died coz of doctors careless mistake…
m nt talking abt all the doctors but thr r sum who r nt honest to their profession…so its hard to find the sincere doctors nw…
anyway may God bless u if u r a gud doctor…
m totally speechless.i dont find words to express my grief.its tragic …its terrible.shez shooo shweetu janu baby ,innocent angel
Allah Ta’ala bless her parents with eternal peace ameen
i feel very sorry for imane,
may Allah almighty bless her, i agree with noman,
usman sahib en doctors ko samny kne nai laya gaya, aap ki baat thek hai sub doctors aisy nai hoty, pr jo hain, en ko samny lana chaye
sub ne bohat bohat achi batain ki.haan yahan mairi baiti bhi ho skti thi.i realize all da things.but i m here not to make u ppl angry ,i m here to make u ppl realize the current situation n what should be done.aap aik private hospital ko bund kerwa daingay, baat kuch din rhay gi n thn sub bhol jaingay.baki private hospitals main kia ho rha kuch expose nai hoga
its high time to develop a policy.compell ur government to make a policy regarding health jis main private medical institutes ko monitor kia jaey
some more horrible facts
1-i know k bohat se OTA s bhi apnay aap ko doc keh k practice kertay.check them
2-bohat se docs k pass to minimum mbbs ki degree bhi nahi hoti.check them
3- close all private medical colleges as they are producing nothing
4-its a team effort to save a patients life.baki logoun ko bhi involve krain not only docs
may this |itt|e gir|S s0u| rest in peace.. Amen!!
There was a very good post in response to the last blog at the DAWN newspaper but apparently after a few days, that post was deleted. It was very well written and there was no hint any degoratory remark in it. Wonder why they deleted that post? So much for ‘freedom of speech’. Guess they might have been ‘bought’ to delete that post or being ‘influenced’. Sigh! When will things in this corrupt nation change?
These cruels should be dealt with severely and should be sent behind the bars……. at least they should then realize the damage done to the family…..they have no right to pronounce as doctors.
whenever i open this website most innocent face appears on my screen, that really makes me sad and think that how the parents of that angel will be surviving after facing that terrible event of their lives. Yes I am talking about the child Imanae Malik.
How these cruel people made her life severe and unbearable at last stages. At least higher authorities should take proper measures to ensure the health care and equal access for the general public. One more thing, if government cannot provide enough facilities to all then at least it can close such below standard hospitals and pharmacies to save the lives of innocent people….. If we cannot do any of the above mentioned things then one thing our government can surely do, they can ask for the BHEEEEG from America to save the public health…
baatain kurtain defence budget ki aur bari bari gariyoon mia ghoomtey hain awaam k pese per, aur choti choti cheezoon k liye hath phela kur bhhheg mantey hain…. shame on them….
all uppl if v all work together against them ll make out some gud result but all have 2 stand together
